What is Academic Make-Up Testing ?
GCC Testing Center provides make-up testing for those students who miss a test in class.

How do I make-up a test?
Students must find out from their instructor if the instructor will allow the student to make-up the test. Instructors will bring the test to the Testing Center.

When can I come to take the test?
Students may drop in during our hours to make-up the test.
Our hours are:
 Monday, Wednesday Thursday 8:30 to 8:00
 Tuesday and Friday 8:30 to 4:00.
*Tests will be handed out up to two hours before closing.

What do I need to take the test?

  1. A photo ID
  2. No cell phone
  3. The name of the instructor.
  4. The name of the test.
  5. Any materials allowed for the test. Calculator, note cards etc.

When do I get my test back?
Once you have taken a test, check with your instructor for the grade.

What is On-Line Testing?
Certain instructors of on-line classes require their students to take their tests in the Testing Center.

How do I know if I need to take a test in the Testing Center?
These instructors inform their students in their syllabus of this requirement.
