ACT American College Testing
The ACT test is an assessment required for two of GCC’s Allied Health programs, DMS (Diagnostic Medical Sonography) and NMT (Nuclear Medicine Technology).
There are two forms of the ACT test, a Residual test and a National test. Both are given on the Gloucester County College campus. The Residual Act is only for use at GCC. The National ACT score reports may be sent to other colleges.
The Residual test is given through the Testing Center. Test dates can be found in the Allied Health packets. Sign up must be in person at the Testing Center. Tests are given on Saturday and students must report at 7:30 am. Testing begins promptly at 8:00am. Students who are late will not be seated.
Duplicate copies of Residual scores cannot be obtained from American College Testing nor from Gloucester County College.
The National ACT is also given at GCC but has to be scheduled through the ACT website and paid for online. National test results may be sent to other colleges. Register at www.actstudent.org.
