Higher Education Opportunity Act -- 2008
On August 14, 2008, the Higher Education Opportunity Act became law, reauthorizing the Higher Education Act for the first time since 1998. This law is intended to help students and parents make better-informed decisions about higher education. With this goal in mind, Gloucester County College has developed this Web site to better inform students, parents, and the College. Privacy Rights of Students and Parents
The U.S. Department of Education published, on October 29, 2010, final regulations in the Federal Register that require institutions to report certain information about students who enrolled in Title IV eligible educational programs that lead to gainful employment in a recognized occupation (GE programs). Those regulations also provide that institutions must disclose to prospective students certain information about the institution’s GE Programs. All Undergraduate Credit Certificate Programs that Gloucester County College offers are considered GE programs. Please click HERE for program details.
