As chairman of the Diversity Committee, I join the College President, Dr. Russell Davis, in welcoming you to the official Web site of the Gloucester County College Diversity Committee.  The Diversity Committee for the 2009-2011 biennium will strive to build upon the successes and rich traditions of our predecessor committee, chaired by assistant professor Birdena Brookins. The new committee will continue conceptualizing, defining, assessing, nurturing and cultivating diversity as an institutional and educational resource and value for the Gloucester County College community.  The committee has embarked upon an ambitious agenda and is busy formulating plans for a series of new diversity focused initiatives that will launch during the spring semester and first summer session.  You are invited to visit the Web site regularly for special announcements, a calendar of events, special features and detailed updates of ongoing and upcoming activities.
