Deptford Twp. – The Center for People in Transition at Gloucester County College will host “Forgiveness: A Healing Journey,” a free personal-enrichment workshop, on campus Tuesday, March 4 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

This eight-part series is designed for individuals who have been emotionally or physically hurt by the people closest to them. According to workshop facilitator Dr. Jennie McQuaide, the journey to forgiveness begins with a decisive choice to let go of negativity. Participants will learn how to conquer feelings of anger and loss of trust. Special emphasis will be placed on overcoming self-destructive behaviors and alleviating pain so that individuals can move on with their lives.

The workshop will take place on Tuesdays, March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 1, 8, 15 and 22 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Registration is mandatory. For more information or to sign up, contact the Center for People in Transition at 856-415-2222 or peopleintransition@gccnj.edu.
