Deptford Twp. –Gloucester County College has more than 50 fun-filled activities planned for the return of its Summer Camp Connections beginning Monday, June 24.

From inventing robots to building rockets, to designing smartphone apps and performing arts, the new and improved program has something to interest every child, pre-teen or teen. All sessions run in two-week cycles with the exception of one-week specialty sessions.

Popular selections include NXT Generation Robotic Inventions: Lego Mindstorm, Astronaut Adventures, Kitchen Chemistry, Jr. Stars Unlimited – Theater Camp, American Dolls Runway and Fairy Princesses. Youngsters will bask in both the summer sun and their imaginations, stalking like a cat in Backyard Explorers and traveling the world in Globe-Trotters.

Middle Camp Connections - For pre-teens 11-14. Exciting activities include App Attack! Make Your First Game App, Virtual Worlds and Future Cities, Movie Mania, Teen Idol, Chefs Challenge and Beautylicious. Teen Camp Connections - For teens 14-17. Options include Start Your Engines – Automotive Camp, Digital Photography, Counselor in Training and Leadership and Police Youth Academy. Campers will not only experience summer fun, but will leave with a creative portfolio for college applications and vocational exploration.
