Women's Tennis Defeats Mercer CC 8-1

The women's tennis team improved to 5-1 Tuesday with an impressive win over visiting Mercer CC. The Roadrunners took control early by winning all three of the doubles matches and then won 5 of the 6 singles matches for an 8-1 win.
Sophomore Kristen Abdallah (Washington Township, NJ/Washington Twp. HS) had her best day of the season cruising to a 6-0, 6-1 win at first singles and then teaming with fellow soph Sara Wilkins (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown HS) for an 8-2 win at second doubles.
The team will compete with 12 other junior college programs this weekend in the regional Intercollegiate Tennis Championships held in Trenton, NJ.
