Stephen Gangloff enters his second season at the helm of the Roadrunner men’s basketball program. Gangloff came to GCC following coaching stints at Sacred Heart High School and Pitman High School.  In 2001, Gangloff began his coaching career as the assistant boys’ basketball coach at Sacred Heart High School where he helped guide the Lions to the Parochial B New Jersey State Tournament in his first and only year on staff.

In 2002, Gangloff accepted a health and physical education position at Pitman High School where he was also named boys varsity basketball head coach.  During his tenure at Pitman from 2002-2008, Gangloff revamped a struggling program leading the Panthers to 4 consecutive New Jersey State Tournament appearances and a Tournament of Peace Championship. He was also selected to serve on the coaching staff for the South Jersey Al Carino All-star game.  

Gangloff graduated from Rowan University in 2000 with a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Exercise Science. He has served as a Health and Physical teacher at Pitman Elementary Schools since 2002 and was at Sacred Heart High School for 1 year. During his time as a health and physical education teacher, Gangloff has served on a number of committees and regularly runs basketball camps and clinics for elementary aged kids in local school districts.

A native of southern New Jersey, Gangloff graduated from Collingswood High School in 1995 and currently resides in Mantua, NJ with his wife, Andrea.
