Coach Calhoun took over the Roadrunner wrestling program during the 2007-08 season. He brings a wealth of wrestling knowledge and experience to the program. Calhoun was a part of a lot of the national success that GCC had over the years and he hopes to continue that success as a coach.

As a wrestler at Washington Township High School, Calhoun was a three-time District 30 titleholder and a Region 8 champion.  He also finished third at the state championships while ending his career with a 99-14-1 record.

He continued his success at GCC, placing third and fourth place in the nation.  Then at the University of North Carolina he posted a 117-29 career record, qualifying for the 1999 NCAA Championships and placing third in the ACC Championships.

After graduating from UNC with a degree in education, he became a physical education teacher at Williamstown High School.  While with the Braves, Calhoun guided them to a 70-27 record, produced several district champions, Region 8 qualifiers, a state medalist and ended with the District 30 title in 2006.

Calhoun resides in Washington Township, NJ with his wife, Allyson, and three children.
