Athletics: Women's Softball
The 2008 season for the Roadrunners has concluded as they dropped two games in the semi final round of the Region XIX tournament. GCC dropped the first game to Camden County College by a score of 0-3, knocking them into the losers bracket. In the second game the GCC Runners were upset by #4 seed Sussex County Community College to end the season with an overall record of 30 wins and 9 losses.
The 2008 season was led by returning players Lisa Costa, Shannon Kelly, Erin Clifford and Kelly Jenkins. The remaining roster spots were filled by a talented group of newcomers which leaves the future very bright for the 2009 Roadrunners.
Gloucester County College is led by Head Coach Steve DePasquale. Coach DePasquale completes his 13th year as head coach with a 391-180-1 career record.
