The Gloucester County College track and field teams have a long history of success and have had a phenomenal past few years. The women’s team has won the NJCAA Northeast District Championship the past 3 years (06,07,08). During the past 4 years, the school has had 7 individual national champions and 15 All-Americans!
2008 in Review: In 2008, Sakinah Scott was the Long Jump and Heptathlon national champion and earned All-American status in the Long Jump, Heptathlon adn 100mHurdles. Lisa Jones earned All-American status finishing 2nd in the 3000m Steeplechase. The team placed 4th with a very strong showing from its five members.
