The Roadrunners fell to 2-3 on the young season after a 67-54 loss to visiting Passaic CC on Saturday. The team will not play again until the Turkey HoopShoot Tournament in Morris County, NJ on November 21-22.
The Roadrunners looked sharp early and then finshed with an 82-33 win on Tuesday night at Salem CC. The team is now 2-1 and will play on the road again on Thursday at Philadelphia CC.
The Roadrunners came through with a 60-59 win on Saturday against visiting CCBC-Dundalk. Soph G Tasia Farmer connected on two foul shots win 0.4 seconds left to seal the win.
The women's basketball team opened up the season on Wednesday night with a 59-51 loss to Harford CC from Bel Aire, Md. The team battled hard to come back from an early 12-4 deficit.
The men's and women's basketball programs will face tough competition this season in Region XIX and with non-conference foes. Soph G Tasia Farmer (pictured) will return to lead the Roadrunners.
The women's basketball team finished the season 12-14 with a talented but inexperienced group of freshman leading the way. Coach Tom McCormack expects big things from this group during their sophomore campaign.
