Gloucester County College women’s soccer coach Dan Roberts has stepped down after his 12th season at the college. Roberts compiled a 95-88-10 record over those 12 seasons including two NJCAA Region XIX championships and a trip to the NJCAA National Championship game in 2007.

The Roadrunners honored their sophomores during halftime of the final game of the season. The game was tied 1-1 at the half but Camden CC went on the win 4-1. Soph Elaina Unger scored the goal for GCC.

Women's soccer fell to 2-4 on the season after a 3-1 loss to visiting Middlesex CC. Freshman MaryKate Covely scored the Roadrunners lone goal on an assist from soph Jael Fedora (pictured left).

The team will be back in action Tuesday afternoon at Brookdale CC at 3:30pm.

The Roadrunners got an early lead and then used ball control to run out the clock in their opening game win against visiting Manor College. Six different Roadrunners scored in the game including freshman Ashley Kodluk (pictured).

The women's soccer team returns leading scorer Jael Fedora (picutred) and a host of new players who will look to improve upon a first round loss in last season's Region XIX Tournament. The schedule is loaded with competitive matches starting September 1st with a home match against rival Camden CC.

The women's soccer team finished the 2008 season with a 7-9 but did make it to the Region XIX Tournament. The team was led by Jael Fedora and Brooke Hetherington who both earned either GSAC or Region XIX honors.
