Roadrunners Support Breast Cancer Awareness; Fall to Brookdale

Roadrunner Sophomores Lindsey Paulson, Kristin Abdallah, Amanda Berry, Sara Wilkins and Ali Crozier added some pink to the uniforms for Tuesday's match.

The women's tennis team joined the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign by adding some pink to their uniforms for their match vs. conference rival Brookdale CC. It was a competitive match but Brookdale came out on top with an 8-1 win. Prior to the match the Roadrunners honored last season's tennis national champions by presenting them with national championship rings (photos below). The team also presented gifts to sophomores Lindsey Paulson, Kristin Abdallah, Amanda Berry, Sara Wilkins and Ali Crozier as this would be their last home match.

The two teams have now split their regular season meetings this season and will look to see who the best team is at the October 24-25 Region XIX Tournament.

The Roadrunners will be on the road on Wednesday for a 3:30pm match at Nuemann University.
