Roadrunners Fall Short Against West Chester University

The women's tennis team competed hard but fell 9-0 to host West Chester University on Wednesday afternoon. It looked like the match might be cancelled earlier in the day but play was completed around 6:30pm despite on and off light rain. West Chester, an NCAA Division II program, improved to 2-0 on the season while GCC fell to 3-1.

The tough competition will hopefully prepare the team for the upcoming conference matches and the ITA Regional Tournament which will be held September 25-27 at Mercer County Park outside Trenton, NJ.

The next match for the team will be Friday at 3:30pm at Cecil CC in North East, MD.
