In Journey users select from several different user types – postsecondary student, first-time job-seeker, career changer, veteran or active member of the military, adult with a disability, ex-offender, or retired person — to get a custom menu of options specific to their education and career needs.

Easy Step-by-Step Process
Journey guides users through an easy step-by-step process that starts with the Kuder Assessments for a reliable and effective experience. This flexible process allows users to complete the steps in order or to select the step that will meet their immediate needs.

Journey also supports ongoing awareness of job opportunities, planning for educational options, and managing career preparation. An electronic portfolio serves as a user’s web page of achievements and goals and may be shared online.

People in various careersSelf -Directed Search (SDS) - This career interest inventory developed by Dr. John Holland helps you explore your interests and discover occupations and fields of study that best match those interests.

Strong Interest Inventory (SII) - The SII is based on the idea that individuals are more satisfied and productive when they work in jobs or at tasks that they find interesting and when they work with people whose interests are similar to their own. The SII measures your interests in a wide range of occupations, occupational activities, hobbies, leisure activities and types of people.
