Rowan University—Liberal Studies
The Rowan University at Gloucester County College program represents a unique partnership between a four-year state institution and a leading county college. Every accepted GCC student will be offered an opportunity to enroll concurrently as a non-matriculated Rowan University student. They will have the option of paying the Rowan University student activity fees and participating in a broad range of student events and services offered on the Rowan campus, including access to the recreation center, library, and the ability to attend all athletic events. After successfully completing the AA/AS degree at GCC, students who meet the Rowan University academic department requirements may move seamlessly (without the need to pay a separate application fee) into any major for which they qualify offered by Rowan University on its Glassboro or Camden campuses. Alternatively, all students who complete an AA/AS degree through the Rowan/GCC program will be eligible to pursue a four-year degree in Liberal Studies: Humanities and Social Sciences on the GCC campus at a substantially reduced (approximately 15%) tuition rate. As such, every Rowan/GCC student has a path of degree-completion options available to them and a host of benefits that include: concurrent enrollment, the opportunity to participate in both Rowan and GCC student activities, seamless transition into any major offered by Rowan for which they qualify, and guaranteed enrollment into a 4-year degree program for those who complete the AA/AS.
