About UsGloucester County College is offering a new, cutting-edge training program in conjunction with the Community College HITECH Consortium led by Tidewater Community College (Norfolk, VA), and funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Its goal is to assist the federal government’s nationwide health care initiatives by training health care professionals in implementing the development and competent use of our nation’s electronic medical records information system.

Our extensive, non-credit certificate program is designed to prepare those seeking retraining whether an employed or unemployed health care professionals, as well as displaced employees. Those seeking a career in health care for a broad spectrum of Health Information Technology (HIT) occupations are also encouraged to attend.
