General Information: Accreditation

Gloucester County College is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Institutional accreditation reflects clearly defined goals and objectives.

All associate degrees and certificate programs are approved by the Gloucester County College Board of Trustees.

The Nursing program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, 61 Broadway, 33rd Floor, New York, NY 10006, 212-363-5555, Ext. 153, www.nlnac.org. The Respiratory Therapy program is accredited by CoARC (Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care), 1248 Harwood Rd., Bedford, TX 76021-4244, 817-283-2835 or 800-874-5615, www.coarc.com. The Diagnostic Medical Sonography AAS is approved by JRC-DMS (Joint Review Committee - Diagnostic Medical Sonography), 2025 Woodlane Drive, St. Paul, MN 55125­2998, 651-731-1582, e-mail: jrc-dms@jcahpo.org. The Nuclear Medicine Technology program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Technology, 716 Black Point Road, PO Box 1149, Polson, MT 59860-1149, jrcnmt@ptinet.net, and The New Jersey Environmental Protection Agency Bureau of Radiologic Health.
