Gloucester County College seeks applicants for the following positions:

  • Dean, Public Safety and Security (Description)
  • DMS Clinical Coordinator – Part-Time (Description) Responsible for coordinating clinical education with didactic education as assigned by the program director.  Clinical education effectiveness shall be evaluated through a schedule of regular visits to the Sonography Program.
  • Director, Adult Basic Education Programs (Description) Individual will provide leadership for Gloucester County College and community adult literacy initiatives.  Master’s degree preferably in an educational or adult training field, 5 years of supervisory experience and prior successful grant development experience required.
  • Financial Aid Technician -(Description) (part-time) Provides efficient customer service for         prospective and current students; provides responsible clerical support for the administration of financial aid in Student Services
  • Gloucester County College Presidential Search (Description) The GCC Board of Trustees invites applications and nominations for the position of President.The next President of GCC will be a leader with senior level higher education experience.  Opportunities and challenges include preparation for Middle States Accreditation, addressing the workforce and economic needs of one of the fastest growing counties in the region.
  • Human Resources Assistant (Description) Individual will provide support in the functional areas of HR.  Associate’s Degree or 2 years college in an appropriate discipline and strong computer background required.  Familiarity with NJ benefits laws and regulations and SCT Banner experience preferred.
  • Maintenance Fireman (Description) Performs various tasks involved in the operation and maintenance of boiler room heating and air conditioning equipment; routine maintenance of plant facilities and related assignments.
  • Proctor - Continuing Education (Part-Time) (Description) Responsible for coordination and support of computer testing and instruction and use of computing materials.
  • Teacher Assistant - Early Childhood Education Center - (Part-Time) (Description) Responsible for a full range of Early ChildhoodEducation Center activities including the physical care and well being of the children.

Instructors - Faculty
Gloucester County College, a comprehensive two-year College is seeking applications for the following 10-month tenure track faculty positions:

  • Communications (Description) – Applicants will be primarily responsible for first year communications (101 and 102) courses; interest in developmental writing courses desirable.  Minimum qualification is a master’s degree in communications or English
  • Physics (Description) - Applicants must be able to teach a wide range of physics courses, including general algebra-based physics for non-majors and calculus-based physics.  Laboratory and computer usage are integral course components.  Interest in astronomy or earth science is desirable.  Master’s degree in physics or closely related area required. 
  • Psychology (Description) - Applicants must be able to teach a full range of psychology courses as they apply to the College’s general education responsibilities and psychology AA degree.  Minimum qualification is a master’s degree in psychology.
  • Sociology (Description) - Applicants must be able to teach a full range of sociology courses as they apply to the College’s general education responsibilities and sociology AA degree.  Minimum qualification is a master’s degree in sociology.
  • Criminal Justice (Description) - Applicants must be able to teach forensics courses as well as a full range of additional criminal justice/law enforcement courses.  Minimum qualification is a master’s degree along with practical and teaching experience in the field of forensics.
  • Biology (Description) - Applicants must be able to teach a wide range of biology course for non-majors and majors.  Master’s degree in biology is required.
