Gloucester County College is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Accreditation is a formal expression of confidence in an institution’s performance in the 14 standards within the Commission's Characteristics of Excellence. The college is currently engaged in its decennial re-accreditation review. Middle States evaluators will be on campus April 14th - 16th to complete the review process. In addition to regional accreditation, all associate degrees and certificate programs are approved by the Gloucester County College Board of Trustees.
The Nursing program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, www.nlnac.org. The Respiratory Therapy program is accredited by CoARC (Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care), www.coarc.com. The Diagnostic Medical Sonography AAS is approved by JRC-DMS (Joint Review Committee - Diagnostic Medical Sonography), http://www.jcahpo.org. The Nuclear Medicine Technology program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology, http://www.jrcnmt.org, and The New Jersey Environmental Protection Agency Bureau of Radiologic Health. In addition, the Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Nuclear Medicine Technology Programs are accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (CAAHEP), http://www.caahep.org.
The Paralegal degree and certificate programs were approved in August 1998 by the American Bar Association (ABA) – ABA Standing Committee on Legal Assistants, http://www.abanet.org.
