Josh Piddington has devoted himself to the college for close to a decade. Josh specializes in just about anything dealing with technology but has research interests in Social Media and Instructional Design. He originally started as a student worker at GCC and has progressed throughout the years to his current leadership position. Josh is a known a principled leader who always puts the student’s interests first! During his stewardship eLearning has grown to encompass more than 50% of all courses offered at GCC. Josh earned an Associate’s Degree specializing in Communications from Gloucester County College as well as a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a Specialization in Management Information Systems (MIS) and a Master’s of Arts in Educational Technology from Rowan University. Josh plans to pursue a Doctorate degree in the coming years. |

Beth Beecroft is a part-time technician who has been working in the Office of Technology since August of 2007. She is responsible for most of the print media that is distributed by the office (including its newsletter), and helps with the daily tasks involved in maintaining the Smart Classrooms on campus. She attended Rowan from 2002-2006 and earned a BA in Geography. Beth hopes to continue her work in the Office of Technology and hopes to become a full-time member of the staff. |

David Comfort is the Administrator of Web Systems and Marketing and has been with Gloucester County College since August 2007. He graduated from GCC in 1999 with an AS in Computer Science and then graduated from Drexel University in 2003 with a BS in Computer Science, focusing on the tracks of Artificial Intelligence and Human Computer Interaction. He managed the implementation of the new GCC Website in 2008 and the revamped GCC Portal in 2009 while developing new mini-websites for various areas on campus. Dave is also an adjunct at GCC who teaches classes such as Concepts of Information Systems, Web Development—Dreamweaver, and Web Programming. In the future, Dave plans to pursue his Master’s Degree in Computer Science while continuing to implement new technologies, such as SharePoint 2010, at GCC. |

Mike Gotthold works as one third of GCC’s Network and Systems administration team. This team is responsible for the day to day operations of GCC’s server systems as well as the operations of all the College’s network infrastructure equipment. Mike has been a full time employee of GCC since Jan 2010. Previously, Mike worked for six months as an outside consultant to GCC and prior to coming to GCC Mike spent 5 years as a Network Admin for Camden County College. “The goal of our team is to keep the systems and network functioning efficiently, securely, and reliably to ensure Students, Faculty, and Staff have access to the applications and tools they need to succeed.” |

Carol Henzy, the Administrator of Academic Services, has been employed at the college since 1988. Originally hired in Continuing Education, she transferred to Liberal Arts where she ran the Division and supervised the office assistants for 20 years. In her current capacity, she helps the Academic Deans with scheduling and managing enrollment. She performs reporting functions for administration and schedules all classes and events on campus. Carol attended Bucks County Community College, and has attended numerous seminars, workshops and training venues. Her immediate goal is to implement a new room utilization software package while continuing to learn as much as possible about technology and Banner. |

Terrance began at GCC as an external IT Support contractor with experience in mainframe programming, software installation, maintenance and direct customer support. In January of 2010 he joined GCC as part of the Technical Support Desk staff; there he assists the students, staff, and faculty in merging today’s technology with their everyday lives. |
