The GCC Library
strives to promote student learning and faculty instruction
in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. LOGIN,
Libraries of Gloucester/Salem Information Network,
includes the GCC Library's collection as well as other
LOGIN member libraries. Library programs include computer
technologies, print and media materials,
and information literacy instruction essential to
lifelong learning. With each passing day, we become
more and more technologically advanced. Library staff
must teach information literacy and learning skills
to empower students to take a proactive role in their
own education and the world around them. See our Information
Literacy page for alternative Webquest projects
to the Information Literacy Workbook. The more the
Library can respond to changes in the information
society, the better we can prepare students for careers
and continued learning. See our Services
& Policies page for a direct link to Audiobooks.
The GCC Library houses more than 56,100 books, 78
journals, and additional titles on microforms that
are available to students and faculty. The library
also provides access to numerous online, full-text
periodicals and specialized databases. To access our
online databases, login to the Portal
and select the Library Online Resources page.
The friendly and knowledgeable library staff is eager
to help you search for information or introduce you
to any of our online services. We encourage you to
visit us often! See our Library
