Library: Ask a Librarian

Just Ask a Librarian can assist in developing search strategies, questions about accessing or using our online databases, and answering brief factual questions such as checking citations. Just Ask a Librarian is not to be used for checking our book holdings or making interlibrary loan requests. Please use LOGIN to check our book holdings or see a librarian for interlibrary loan requests.

The answer to your question might already be on the Library Online Resources page of the Portal. In addition, a virtual reference service is available 24/7. Called Q and A NJ, students can connect to an academic librarian from libraries throughout NJ.

The mailbox is checked twice daily Monday through Friday by Reference staff. Questions submitted on weekends will be checked on Mondays. We will get back to you within two working days with either an answer to your question, a status report, or a request for clarification. If you need more immediate assistance, please call the Reference Desk at 856-415-2253.
