GCC works hard to provide students with a safe campus.

The Gloucester County College Educational Campus Safety and Security Department is a proprietary system comprised of 18 full and part time personnel who patrol both the Gloucester County College and Gloucester County Institute of Technology campuses. The dedicated men and women of GCEC’s Safety and Security Department are responsible for enhancing the quality of life, safety and security of the college community. To fulfill this mission, security officers patrol campus buildings and grounds to insure public welfare.

The number of officers on duty varies according to the time of day and expected level of activity. All officers are trained to assist the community in situations ranging from emergency response to general advice on crime prevention.
