This is an opportunity for a student to speak privately and confidentially with clinically trained staff about personal stressors, emotional difficulties, interpersonal problems, or other concerns. Assessment may take one or several visits.

A student may meet with SAC staff to discuss a variety of issues, such as:

  • coping with stress
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • grief
  • relationship difficulties
  • other personal concerns.
SAC staff will assist the student in formulating the problem, provide behavioral health education, and refer and link the student to appropriate campus and community resources to further address the problem.
