How to Make an Appointment

Please call 856-464-5236 or stop in during office hours to make an appointment.

Student Assistance Center professional staff are available:

Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm

Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm

There are walk-in appointments available.

How Counseling Works

Initially you can make an appointment or be referred by GCC staff. When you arrive for your first appointment you will review an informed consent form regarding aspects of services including confidentiality. In addition to the informed consent, you will fill out a brief informational form. Once this is completed your initial session will include a review of the informed consent and a series of questions regarding the issues that brought you to the SAC. You will have an opportunity to explain your concerns and discuss your needs and goals. You and your counselor will then decide what services you will need.
