The mission of the Gloucester County Educational Campus Safety and Security Department is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Campus Safety and Security strives to achieve this mission by means of a community-friendly approach that enhances safety through the visibility of security personnel, preventive patrols, 24 hour accessibility, positive conflict resolution, and crime prevention and awareness programs. The department collaborates with local law enforcement and community organizations in fulfilling its mission.

Our goal is to enhance the quality of life on campus by working cooperatively with the campus community, and within the regulations of the college to enforce the laws, preserve the peace and reduce fear. GCEC Safety and Security works with all members of the community to preserve life, maintain human rights, protect property, and promote the educational objectives of Gloucester County College.

GCEC Safety and Security believes in setting the example, and staying committed to providing high-quality, expedient service to the campus community. The department strives for a safe and healthy environment through training, quality improvements and constant performance monitoring.
