The cooperation and involvement of all community members is essential for making the Gloucester County Educational Campus safe. All students, faculty and staff should be alert at all times and immediately report malfunctions and suspicious persons or activity. Be sure that doors are locked when leaving rooms or buildings and to take common sense precautions. The college cannot be responsible for accidents, personal injury and damage to personal property.

Everyone is requested to be aware of the following:
  • Exterior doors of buildings should never be propped open.
  • Classroom doors should be locked at night and when the student leaves, even for a short period of time.
  • Classrooms will not be opened unless the instructor is present.
  • Cars should be parked in well-lit areas and kept locked at all times. Valuables should be concealed or locked in the trunk.
  • Individuals who are behaving suspiciously should be immediately reported to campus security staff or sheriff officers.
  • Students should request an escort if they feel unsafe walking from a parking lot or between buildings. Campus Security is available for those who wish an escort. Dial Ext. 4444 from an on-campus phone. Or use any emergency phones installed around campus. Just press the blue button for security. Talk into the speaker. State your request and give your exact location.
  • Valuable items such as cameras, computers, and cell phones, etc. should be permanently marked for identification.
  • Students should avoid areas that are isolated or not well lit.
