The Safety and Security Department is responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of the state-of-the-art electronic Closed Circuit Television Security System for the Gloucester County College Campus.

The current system includes three pan-tilt-zoom CCTV cameras and over sixty fixed cameras on GCC’s campus, all feeding back to the Campus Security Office. Our cameras are proactively used by safety and security personnel to deter crime and to assist Security Department personnel in enhancing the quality of life for the Gloucester County College community through virtual 24 hours a day, seven days a week recorded patrols.

Other key features of our technical security program include 31 emergency blue light phones connected directly to our Campus Safety and Security Office, emergency radio dispatching center, electronic access control card readers, burglar and door alarms, and smoke and fire sensors located in college buildings throughout campus.
