Business Office: Refund Policy
 

GCC provides a refund policy for students who decide to drop courses. Based on the date of dropping the course, refunds, when applicable, are limited to the respective percentage of tuition and certain fees.

For courses whose schedules digress from the traditional start dates of fall, spring, winter, and summer, please contact the Business Office at 856-415-2226 for the applicable refund schedule. Please allow six to eight weeks for processing of refunds. No refunds will be made beyond this schedule.

Percentage of Refund

Fall and Spring 15-Week Courses (Regular)

100% refund if class is dropped before semester begins
50% refund if class is dropped within first or second week *

Fall and Spring 8-Week-A, 8-Week-B, and 13-Week Sessions

100% refund if class is dropped before the Monday of the first class week
50% refund if class is dropped on Monday or Tuesday of the first week of class*

Summer

100% if class is dropped before the Monday of the first class week
50% refund if class is dropped on Monday or Tuesday of the first week of class*

Winter Pre-term

100% if class is dropped before the Monday of the first class week
50% refund if class is dropped on Monday or Tuesday of the first week of class*

Winter (Regular)

100% if class is dropped before the Monday of the first class week
50% refund if class is dropped on Monday or Tuesday of the first week of class*

*50% refund is assuming student paid in full for class that was dropped. Student will be responsible for 50% of cost of class dropped if not paid in full.
