GCC to Rowan – Success in Business

Join the DECA Club for an Open Student Forum featuring former GCC Business students that transferred and graduated from Rowan University. These featured student will return to their “roots” and share their success stories. Light refreshments will be served. Open to everyone. Multi-Cultural Festival

The Multi-Cultural Club will sponsor a festival where members of the club will showcase and share their cultural backgrounds and experiences from around the world. All are welcome to attend. Proceeds will benefit Amnesty International.

Save a Life Tour - Distracted Driving
Date: Tuesday, April 22

Did you know that texting and driving is eight times more dangerous than drinking and driving? From the creators of The International “Save A Life Tour,” we are pleased to announce an event specifically targeted at creating awareness of the newly recognized issue. GCC students will have the chance to find out just how dangerous texting and driving can be during a program that puts them behind the wheel of a state-of-the art virtual reality simulator.

Frank Smith from the Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services will be speaking about his life’s choices dealing with drug and alcohol abuse and the price he paid. Mr. Smith will also share a video “Let Me Be Your Mistake,” The Frank Smith Story.

Sexual Assault and Alcohol Awareness Month

Animal Advocacy Day

Join Animal Advocates in raising awareness about animal rights, cruelty-free alternatives, pet adoption, the environment, and more! Stop by to get free stuff, talk, learn, and have some fun!

Faculty and staff are invited to wear jeans for a small donation to Animal Advocates.

Handwriting Analysis

Dennis Duez and Paul Dau, expert handwriting analysts will be here to help you understand more about the mind and body. Handwriting analysis produces a personality profile of the writer by examining their handwriting. Warning: Health issues or past experiences may be revealed! Come see for yourself - “first hand”!

Movie Popcorn MOTHERS MATTER CAMPUS-WIDE COLLECTION
Begins: Kick off date is Friday, March 7
Ends: Friday, April 25
Location: Collection bins which are located in every building on campus

GCC is one of many host sites for the Mother’s day gift drive, Mothers Matter, directed by the Lauren Rose Albert Foundation. They foundation provides gift baskets of health and beauty care products. The baskets are distributed to women that are often forgotten on Mother’s Day; some in rehab centers, mothers of pediatric patients, others in nursing homes, or low-income moms who simply need a lift on Mother's Day.

If you are unable to donate your time, then please, the next time you’re out shopping, pick up something from the list below and place it in one of the many collections bins around campus.
