Student Services: Student Advisement: When to See an Advisor

At Gloucester County College, there are advisors available to you for appointments during both the day and evening hours. Suggestions as to when you may need to see an advisor are listed below. Of course, if you have some other situation or question not listed below, you are more than welcome to make an appointment to see an advisor.

To discuss any problems that may be impacting on your academic performance
To select courses for the upcoming semester
To add, drop, or withdrawal from a course (Be aware of specific deadlines)
To discuss your academic progress
To discuss changing your major and its impact
To review your degree planning
To discuss career considerations
