Thanks to ALL the artists who submitted work to the YEA! Project!
Amie Potsic, juror for the YEA! Yo Emerging Artists Project announced the names of 42 artists who will be exhibiting work at Gloucester County College starting on Friday, October 22.
Amie spent countless hours reviewing approximately 500 images which were submitted. The winner of the $500 cash prize for the 2010 Emerging Artist Award will be announced at the opening reception at 6:30 p.m. on Friday October 22, in the Beitzel Art Gallery, inside the College Center at Gloucester County College.
Partners in the project include GCC, Gloucester County Cultural and Heritage Commission, Rowan University Art Gallery, Perkins Center for the Arts, and Noyes Gallery at Hammonton. Links to related YEA! Events will be available soon!
Selected artists will be notified by e-mail with details concerning the exhibit at GCC.
Drop Off Dates
The following drop off dates are available for the winning artists to drop off their artwork::
- Wednesday, October 13, noon - 4 p.m., College Center Lobby
- Thursday, October 14, 10 am – noon, College Center Lobby
- Monday, October 18, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Instructional Center 437
